Growing up, my grandparents kept a marble slab which they would leave outside on cold nights when they would make homemade mints. They would bring the frozen slab inside and use it to cool and ‘pull’ the candy before cutting it into bite sized pieces in an attempt to make the perfect soft mint. These mints are incredible. They are soft and melt in the mouth. I would not even attempt to try to make my own when these are available to me. One word description: QUALITY. Big fan of the butter mint puffs!
