BIG CHANGES

These past months of 2020 have been full of change.  From a simple trip to the store, to community clubs and meetings, to ways we worship and work—it seems the Pandemic has touched our lives in a most exhaustive (and sometimes exhausting) way.  How challenging to get through many situations we used to take for granted! We are deeply sorry for losses experienced in 2020–loved ones, jobs, businesses, and more due to COVID-19.

Some parts of our lives have not changed at all.  Think about good food.  The standard for quality food seems to withstand time and life changes.  Delicious food is central to some of our fondest memories; it is associated with happy times with friends and loved ones.  We know how important good food is in our lives and for years one of our mottos has been “QUALITY – PURITY – GOODNESS.”  These are central to the way we at Old School Mill do business.  We have not changed these standards!

Still, we have made some important changes in 2020. This Fall we are introducing new packaging on many of our products.  Hot Cocoa is now in a metal tin; Mulling Spices and Raw Sugar are in a Kraft back/clear front zipper pouch.  Our most important packaging change is in our 12 oz. and 16 oz. mixes and corn products.  These items are now being packaged in printed plastic pouches.   We think you, our consumer, will like them for convenience and we like them, well, because to us they are BEA-U-TI-FUL! We give a “shout out” to Hillhouse Creative and to our own Makayla Hinson for working together on this project.

So while 2020 has been most challenging, life continues in the midst of challenge.  We thank you for your business, for your support, and we hope you love our new bags!
